Eynsford Village Hall - Lottery Subscriptions

As you know, Eynsford Village Hall is to be rebuilt.  The Trustees are beavering away at fund raising, at consultation with the architects and prospective contractors and in consultation with the community.  One day, Eynsford will have a wonderful new hall with modern facilities, flexible space usage and a terrace alongside the river.

You may not know that the costs are estimated at one million pounds.  A glossy on the project can be seen here.  Some of the funding will come from the sale of Institute Cottage, from grants by the Parish, District and County Councils as well as from charitable foundations.  There is also a financial dependency on the community and other users of the hall.

One fund raising strand is the EVH Lottery.  Please consider buying a subscription and maybe for a friend or relative too.  The application form is here.  Prizes are drawn each month and a year's subscription is £60.

With the hall being the home of Riverside Players (the Five Bells may be a close second) the trustees are very aware of the hall's significance to members.  Facilities for Riverside have been reviewed by your committee and their views have been taken into account.  The Trustees anticipate a splendid new home for Riverside productions.

The support of the community with financial and in kind contributions is essential.  So do please consider what else you can do, e.g. arrange a fund raising event, organise sponsorship of a personal challenge.  The Village Hall trustees could help with publicity.

A subscription to the EVH Lottery will be a great start.
