Review

I love it when a plan comes together! That’s what happened for me with Thank You For The
Music.
Now please bear with me for this brief review as I thought I had made some notes and it seems
my computer has other ideas today!
I know this much, I had a fantastic night and was thoroughly entertained.
Those who know me will vouch for my amazing vocal skills and pitch perfect tones, so without
my talents on stage I was slightly concerned Riverside could pull off such a vocal spectacular. I
needn’t have been!
One of the things that never ceases to amaze me about Riverside productions, is the final push
during the last week of rehearsals by everybody on the production team. The excitement is at its
highest, the nerves are getting the better of most people and the adrenaline is flowing. But it
works, it happens, everyone pulls through and a great show is performed.
I loved the variety of songs, a couple of which were new to me, which is always a bonus.
Everyone (from memory, as I know by the second act I had made good use of the bar facilities! )
on stage made a great effort to keep us entertained and time flew by. I not going to pick a
favorite song or performer because to be honest and using a cliché, I t was a great team effort.
Well done to everyone involved at all levels, a great night out with strong voices we should all be
proud of.
